Troop types

In Battlefield 1's multiplayer mode, there are four different types of troops: Assault, Support, Medic and Recon. Each type of soldier has its own niche.
For example, the assault soldier is an offensive soldier and is often at the forefront of the battle. Support soldiers are the defensive ones, often with machine guns in their positions. The medic is the battlefield doctor, who is used to heal and revive teammates. Scouts are the sniper soldiers in the game and are responsible for killing enemies at long range. [2]
