Finland dumped its "outdated and unrepairable" Mi-8s when the NH-90 were introduced. There is/was licensed manufacturing for the NH.

The Mi-8s were sent as I recall free to Hungary, where they were found to be in such a bad shape that Hungary made them into VIP transports...

Prior to this, Norway was also very unhappy with its NH90 fleet and put them out of action. Australia also plans to phase them out and buy the Black Hawk by 2025. Previously, Australia was very unhappy with its Tiger attack helicopters, which have been in service since 2004, and in 2019 decided to replace them with the AN-64E Apache."
