Not here… but never forgotten. I miss your face.

Last walk of honor…..
these last few years, have probably been the worse years of most of our lives.
I know they’ve been mine.

Although we want to quit, we want to ignore, we want to cry, we want to be angry.

We instead, just put one foot in front of the other.
Breathe in one breath at a time.
And live our lives the best that we possibly can.
If not for ourselves,… but those who were taken away from us.
Way too early.

I’ll see you around kiddo.
And I’ll be seeing you too Sue.
Don’t doubt that.

But until that time….
We push forwards, because those behind us. Are not strong enough to weather this storm.

We put here at this time, for a reason.
We have seen what we saw.. for a reason.
And because of this reason, we don’t give up, we don’t quit… and we never back down.

Eyes up my loves,
the battle is not over.
Until it has been won.

Don’t forget to love those you have, as you continue to hold the line. And gently push back, every day.

Please, teach your children to love mine. Because I have taught mine, to love yours.
