Feed our Vets Ride

The Cicero NY Post 787 Legion riders started a food collection and ride to support Feed Our Vets in 2020 and continue each year to build on our support for this great organization. We hope this and many videos to follow will be seen and shared to as many as possible. If you live in the Central New York area and ride a motorcycle please plan to register and join us September 16, 2023. The ride consists of an 80+ mile ride around Oneida Lake with stops at currently seven other participating local Legions and VFWs for pick up of non perishable food donations. We also will take any refundable bottles and cans. At the end of the ride we return to our Cicero post for BBQ, Vendors, Live Music, Raffles and drawings which all will go directly to our veterans. Thank you and we hope to see you all in September.

Since 2009, Feed Our Vets has provided free food assistance to more than 31,300 Veterans and their family members, distributing 2.3 Million pounds of food, and over $166,140 in gift cards. Feed Our Vets mission is to help Veterans in the United States, their spouses and children, whose circumstances have left them on the battlefield of hunger, and to involve the public in fighting Veteran hunger. 100% of our funds come from private donors and they do not receive any government funding.
