Bishop's Opening | Puzzle! And a Complicated Endgame

PUZZLE Move 23 15:20 we're doing some trades and I have a choice. Do I recapture with the rook or the knight? Pause and think about it! I make the wrong choice, but my opponent doesn't realize it for several moves. Then it all comes crashing down (the eval bar I mean).

After that we get a complicated but very nice endgame in which I think I took the most inefficient route possible. What would you do to speed up the endgame?
