I knew Bokor before the new road and casino were built, it was very quiet and beautiful up there then, i saw wild cow, clouded leopard , white faced gibbons, wild elephant footprints, there was talk of tigers and the monks at the hermitage up there had a plaster cast of a large tiger footprint, also many many beautiful birds, the new road and casino and hotels have destroyed what was once an untouched asian alpine gem, such a shame but i suppose that's progress for you.
