Watchmen on the wall have been calling out warnings about central bank digital currency for more than a decade.

Here to bring us up to date on the next frightening step toward implementation of government control of your money is Church Militant's Kristine Christlieb.

It was during COVID when the world woke up to the danger of digital banking. The Canadian government ordered banks to deny protesting truckers access to their bank accounts.

In this In-Depth Report, a new line has been crossed — this time in Great Britain, where we're seeing the accelerating convergence of cyber technology, bioengineering and the flow of money.

Jon Erlichman, senior anchor, Bloomberg Markets: "Canada's National Police Service sending to banks the names of people involved in protests that have paralyzed Ottawa. This is the first concrete step in the financial crackdown on demonstrators."

People were shocked when Canadian truckers' GoFundMe assets were seized.

But when the Canadian government got the protesters' names and ordered their banks to deny them access to their personal bank accounts, that got everyone's attention.

Chrystia Freeland, deputy prime minister, Canada: "It's about following the money."

Suddenly, the threat of central bank digital currency, or CBDC, became real.

A graph of the occurrence of the term "CBDC" shows the trend has been building up steam for more than a decade.

It's part of the move toward a cashless society, and now that trend is being coupled with implanted microchips.

Mads Palsvig, former executive, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse and Barclays: "He's a top executive director of another central bank in Europe and there's no reason to believe he was telling me a story. And it was around this large and would be implanted under your skin. So that is the plan."

Another step in the direction of biometric identification systems.

Viral news reports out of Great Britain show how the trend is accelerating, and the danger is increasing.

At first, using the chip is a little awkward, but no worries, you'll get used to it.

Debit cards are convenient, and that's what's driving the microchip implantation. But if someone can turn off your debit card and your access to cash through ATMs, that's not a good thing.

During COVID, many businesses refused cash entirely, forcing a digital transaction.

More and more transactions can only be completed digitally.

But people around the world are awakening and fighting back by encouraging the use of cash.

The powerful combination of CBDC with biometric identification — allowing every human being to be tracked at all times and cut off indefinitely from monetary access — could catapult us into a new kind of tyranny.

The CBDC prison is being built for humanity right now. Ninety percent of all nations' central banks are planning to launch a central bank digital currency.

Experts are calling central bank digital currency the ultimate financial coup d'état that will transform society as we know it.
