Feds bust national catalytic converter theft ring

On Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Justice announced a series of raids that targeted a nationwide catalytic converter theft ring. Numerous suspects across several states were arrested, and the stolen catalytic converters were valued at more than half a billion dollars.
