Ruby Fiera from Vaginoplasty Volumes: Cameltoe posted this video to Twitter on 11/3/2022 in the midst of a near-death bout with sepsis following gender-affirming male to female top surgery last week, in which his3 breast implants were increased to an 800 cc size. Ruby also posted this apparently now-deleted tweet: "What happens when a nurse removes a dissolvable stitch that shouldn’t be removed, incision gapes gets infected, kidney infection, sepsis, boyfriend finds you nearly dead on the sofa so straight to a&e for a double Mastectomy. @RedThunder_100 saved my life." Warning: Ruby's Twitter feed and Youtube channel contain explicit pornography.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Please keep seeking help. The damage from this, especially any brain damage, may not be fully apparent immediately. Help is available.

Sepsis related brain injury symptoms can look like a lot of things, including attention issues, emotional regulation problems, depression, and behavior/judgment issues. It can also look like narcolepsy, diabetes insipidus, and central sleep apnea. Brain damage can also be very focal, like losing a previously learned skill such as speaking. Emotional trauma and medical PTSD can also cause cognitive impairment and other symptoms. It can be hard to tease these two independent causes of functional impairment apart in a particular individual who acquires both simultaneously.

If I were in Ruby's position I would want some sort of scan, preferably MRI, to see whether there were any significant brain lesions created during this episode. I would also want SLP evaluation to establish cognitive baselines. I would eventually want a sleep study and EEG. Please be kind to yourself in the coming weeks and months. Sepsis is a profound and complex injury.

Reminder that the Netherlands nationwide cohort of n=2200~ found that when men take estrogen at doses needed to feminize, they have a rate of breast cancer that is 46 times the base rate for men who never took testosterone. Many people find out they have cancer because of sepsis.

"The risk of developing sepsis is increased 10 times by the presence of any cancer.

More than 1 in 5 sepsis hospitalizations are cancer-related."
https://www.sepsis.org/sepsisand/cancer/

They are also NOT WARNING of the cancer risk in the "informed consent" docs I've seen.
