U.S., S.Korea strengthening ‘readiness’ after North Korea missile strikes

The United States and South Korea agreed on Thursday to seek new measures to demonstrate the alliance's "determination and capabilities" following repeated North Korean provocations. "On the peninsula, we're returning to large scale exercises to strengthen our combined readiness and our ability to fight tonight if necessary," U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said during a news conference with South Korean Defense Minister Lee Jong-sup.
