He almost lost his toe (3 WEEK UPDATE)

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. Tobyn's toe is healing really well! Many people asked what we were doing to take care of it.
1) Washed it with dove soap and warm water every day
2) Applied Levander and/or Melaleuca initially to the foot and toe but not on the wound. Once the stitches were gone/dissolved we began to apply the essential oils onto the scab/wound.

3) Changed out the bandage every day (See full video)

We had such a scary night in 2 different emergency rooms with our 3 year old son. The first ER was not qualified to handle this degree of injury in such a young patient. They informed us that he was at risk of almost losing his toe. We had to drive 45 minutes away to go to a children's hospital that had a 7 hour wait for some people. Thankfully we got in pretty quick since we were a transfer and because of the degree of the injury. It was such a scary night when he almost lost his toe. Thanks for your prayers and support!
