"Switzerland has banned Germany from supplying Ukraine with ammunition for the Gepard anti-aircraft tank, Die Zeit has reported.

The Economics Ministry said that because of the law on neutrality, Switzerland could not grant a request for the transfer of military equipment of Swiss origin and this applies as long as Ukraine is involved in an international armed conflict.

Die Zeit reported that in late October, Defence Minister Christine Lambrecht asked Switzerland to allow the transfer of some 12,400 rounds of ammunition to Ukraine, but was denied for the same reason."
