2022 marks the 80th anniversary of the Australian

Some of the last veterans of the war in New Guinea gathered in Sydney today for a very special anniversary. It's 80 years to the day since the Australian flag was raised over Kokoda village, marking the end of one of the toughest campaigns of World War II.
