3rd run trying to see how we want to do this live. Light Gage is absolute trash

From the second run on Clyde and we pretty much had what we wanted. These stock light gage just gotta get the hell off of here. The D on my old fender jazz is within just a few thou of the damn low E sting on the new factory J-4 schecter. Im going to see if they know about having some real steel ropes on here. She is slimmer, could be a problem to run em as stiff and thick as we can. If I dont have string response.... I might as well move on to something else.

Light gage makes perfect sense for the studio 8. With this one they wont stop running away from me when we need to big boy bass stuff. Might just get a wild hair and try solid steel music wire. Probably going back to using flatwound on the A and E and heavy round on the two upper. Never tried ground wound... might have to try those since this thing is still in the experimental stages with setup.
