This Boeing 747 Dreamlifter, not to be confused with the Dreamliner, lost a wheel shortly after departure from Taranto airport in southern Italy a while back. The plane that can carry parts of planes and generally huge loads like helicopters and vehicles eventually landed safely at Charleston airport in the state of South Carolina in the United States.

The thirty-year-old modified wide-body cargo aircraft with registration N 718 BA departed from Italy most likely with Boeing plane parts in its huge belly, to be delivered to the Boeing plant located at the airport of Charleston.

In a short video clip from October 11, 2022 provided by an Italian news website, the massive Boeing can be seen taking of normally. After a few seconds in the sky, smoke appears near one of the wheels. It’s only than that the wheel frees itself from the landing gear and falls back to earth again. There were no injuries reported on the ground.
