Vice City, 1986. A humid and sunny sandbox city full of opportunities, jobs, fun, chaos, and crime. A place where the cocaine is cheap and there is a chance some cokehead dealer might try to cut your arms off to steal your cash and keys of cocaine. 20 years later and likely hundred of thousands of hours or more of players exploring and causing mayhem to their heart’s content.

Vice City was where open worlds were expanded upon on October 29th, 2002 to gamers around the world and allowed them to experience the 1980s in a whole new light. GTA: VC also showed us that BOMBASTIC Hollywood stories could be adapted to video games. This is something that Rockstar still takes inspiration from to this very day, 20 years later. On October 29th, 2002, Rockstar Games gave us adventures that would go on for decades to come, and still continue today.
