Fighting food insecurity in California's Central Valley

The Fresno Metro Ministry, a Central Valley nonprofit, is fighting food insecurity by recovering food that retailers would discard for reaching its sell-by date. In the past 6 years, the organization has collected and distributed more than 8 million pounds of food to Central Valley families in need.
