Modern Warfare 2 is the fastest-selling Call of Duty Ever.

On steam alone it beat out black ops 1’s old record day one player count of 63k, with a whopping 260k

Playstation publicly congratulated the game on their twitter as the fastest selling launch of a game on their store ever.

The reasons for this could be the nostalgia of MW2, or the rise of warzone in the past couple years bringing a lot of the old player-base back.

Whatever it is, I think it’s safe to say that people are loving MW2
