Benjamin Netanyahu projected to win Israeli election after vote

Israel’s former Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, appears to be on course for an even greater victory than initial exit polls suggested. BiBi Netanyahu and the Likud party have won just enough seats to form a narrow majority in Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, according to preliminary exit polls. As of Wednesday morning, all of Israel’s main television channels have projected a Netanyahu-Likud victory. Final results on the outcome of the parliamentary election could come as soon as Wednesday afternoon, or could take until Thursday to arrive.
