Text: Isaiah 4, 25, 28, 29
Obj: that the brethren may know how to properly deal with difficulties in life
Intro:
Define – Storm, Tempest, Difficulties/Troubles
Bible verses – Storm described

How Should We Deal with the Storms / Troubles in our lives?
1. Seek Refuge From It – Isa. 4:6: 25:4
a. Natural disasters, some forces of nature are undesirable – like problems
b. Best to let it pass, if helpless against it – “blast of the terrible”
2. Refuse to be Destroyed By It – Isa. 28:2: 29:6
a. Wind (tempest, blast) and Water(flood)
b. Make preparations and provisions as to not be destroyed
i. Don’t displease the Lord
3. Realize the Lords Working in the Midst of it
a. The Lord can be our refuge
b. The Lord can use the storms to destroy
Message/conclusion:
Let us know how to properly deal with difficulties in life, Trust the Lord in the midst of it

Finale: Nahum 1:3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
