Pan de muerto ( bread for Dia de los muertos)

Another month, another world holiday! Since I enjoyed making challah in September (after not making it for years) I decided to try my hand again at Pan de muerto. I haven't made it for over 6 years. I made the dough easily in the bread machine--enough for 2 round loaves.
It turned out nicely so I may take it to school tomorrow--after all, tomorrow is day 2 for the Mexican holiday of Dia de los muertos. It is a typical sweet yeast dough, with an atypical ingredient--anise seeds. I'm a fan. Try it--maybe you'll be a fan, too!
