President Biden threatens to tax oil company profits

President Biden took aim at the oil and gas industry today, accusing them of "war profiteering" off the conflict in Ukraine and threatening to enact a windfall tax on their record profits. The oil industry responded by saying a windfall tax would chill new production and ultimately harm the consumer.
