Vitamin D (New Findings)
26
Results from new studies strongly support the long-held belief that Vitamin D can decrease the risk of premature death. Studies done at the University of South Australia showed that low values of vitamin D were associated with increased all-cause mortality, and supplementation progressively decreased all cause mortality up to a level of 50nmol/L. This information should encourage people to check their Vitamin D levels and seek supplementation when necessary.
