Andover Tornado 2022 [Drone Footage of Heavy Damage]

On 4/29/2022, a tornado struck Andover, KS, causing enormous property damage. Thankfully, there were no fatalities and few serious injuries. The Andover YMCA, and nearby neighborhoods to the south were among the worst damaged areas.

This drone footage was shot on Sunday, 5/1/2022. On 4/30/2022 the FAA issued a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) in the area along the path of the tornado, to keep the airspace clear of nonessential aircraft. The TFR was lifted at sundown on 4/30/2022.
