The BEST way to grow orchids in a private collection is to have the PERFECT climate which permits to have orchids mounted all around the landscape. Be it cloud orchids, or tropical orchids, in the right climate, with the right temperatures and humidity... I can only say, mount your orchids in your landscape. However, for many orchid growers, landscape orchid mounting is not an option, so... this video will provide a lot of information on what to be careful of if you want to mount your orchid, the preparation for a stress free transition of an orchid that was in a pot, to then be mounted. The care of mounted orchids can prove very time consuming, but when done right, then caring for mounted orchids can be so much fun and very very rewarding.
