Cluttered Heart

It so hard to step out when we can’t see ahead. Density happens, where the circumstances we know we are to step out in all we see is density, kind of like looking into a forest and seeing the density of the trees and knowing you can’t navigate it without a guide. There are times like that in our lives where the density of the situation is so thick, we can’t see our next step, we can’t see a way through. The density can also be in our own heart. We have so much cluttering our heart, it is so dense that we can’t see much light and our hope dims as we try to move forward. The worst temptation we have when we can’t see ahead is to look in the rear-view mirror and long for those times where everything was clear. The problem with rear view mirror living, is we have more emotional crashes than we ever thought possible. We need to drive forward with God, no matter how dense the situation is, God has gone before us, God knows the way. In light of that awesome truth, we can clearly see we need to move forward in confidence and trust God even if He has asked us to step out, and grow through when we are standing on the edge of a forest, and we can’t see a clear direction. These are hard times to navigate, moving forward when we can’t see where we are going, but we do see the possible stumbling blocks ahead. Take one day at a time, and don’t despise small beginnings, do what you know God is asking you to do, and courageously step out, on this day, and do it. Life change is a hard place to be, but what makes it easy, is to wholly-holy align ourselves with God and step out and go with Him. God does not fail us; God is a trustworthy and an incredible guide. God will navigate us well, He knows the way to stay clear of the traps, to not fall into pits dug for us, to safely go where we have never gone before. God knows. As we trust Him, when we find ourselves lost in the density of the woods of our lives, it will end well, we won’t be lost in the forest, we will come out the other side and finish well. God bless ya.
