Russian President Vladimir Putin at a press conference answered a journalist's question why Russia suspended the grain deal. Let me remind you that recently several drones from Ukraine hit Russian warships in the Black Sea. Theses:
This whole process of exporting grain from the territory of Ukraine was organized under the pretext of ensuring the interests of the poorest countries. And Russia went for it precisely in the interests of the poorest countries. The fact is that the attack that was undertaken was an unsuccessful attack, but, nevertheless, it was undertaken by Ukraine against the ships of the Black Sea Fleet. We must pay tribute to the Russian sailors and thank them, of course, for the fact that they were at the height of the situation, they repelled all attacks. But, these drones, both underwater and aerial drones, they partially walked in the corridor along which grain is exported from Ukraine. And thus, they created a threat both for Russian ships, which are supposed to ensure the safety of grain export, and for civilian ships, which are engaged in this.
