In this lecture we will review Group Processes and Work Teams - The Differences Between Work Group and Work Team.

Communicational skills become increasingly critical as more groups are used in organizational settings. Training in communications skills usually involves teaching writing, oral presentation, listening, and reading.

Tuckman’s Five Stages of Group Development: 1) Forming – members get acquainted; 2) Storming – interactions with some conflict; 3) Norming – unity is established; 4) Performing – members become task oriented; 4) Adjourning – roles terminated.
