TG / Masno "The video of the Zvezda TV channel for the first time showed the Su-35S fighter armed with the R-37M long-range air-to-air missile, using it in the SMO zone in Ukraine.

In addition to the R-37M, the fighter is also equipped with R-77-1 medium-range air-to-air missiles and the Kh-31P anti-radar missile.

Thanks to the presence of missiles such as the R-37M, MiG-31BM, Su-57 and Su-35S fighters can hit Ukrainian aircraft without even entering their detection zone or the Ukrainian air defense zone.

The effect of using such a "long arm" will be enhanced if the fighters armed with it are guided according to AWACS aircraft of the A-50U type or its lighter analogues (which, alas, were not put into operation in large numbers)."
