DESTRUCTIVE FLOODS IN PAKISTAN

This year there were large-scale floods in Pakistan, due to which almost all northern part was completely flooded including lowlying areas. Due to climate change, the risk of flooding in rivers has increased due to the melting of glaciers in the mountainous regions of Pakistan. Pakistan is yet to recover from the damage caused by the floods. Pakistan's economy has been badly affected due to large-scale floods. Moreover, life in Pakistan was paralyzed due to these floods. Industrialized countries that have played a major role in climate change and environmental pollution should help Pakistan to recover from the effects of floods and not only financially but also diplomatically.
