The Super Mario Bros Movie ｜ the first images of the film by the creators of the Minions

Fans of Mario and his crazy universe have been in heaven since yesterday. Nintendo has just unveiled the first images of the animated film dedicated to the plumber. A long-awaited feature film simply called Super Mario Bros and produced in partnership with Illumination Entertainment, the creators of Despicable Me and the famous Minions. Just that !

Only a few hours after its release, the French trailer explodes the counters with already more than a million views. And it must be said that this foretaste was widely applauded by the community both for the graphic style, the humor and above all… the voiceover.

Because if the voice of Chris Pratt in the original version is decried, the French version produced by Pierre Tessier seems to be the favorite of Internet users, all over the world. Some tweets from American Internet users praising the French voice of Mario even accumulate tens of thousands of interactions on the social network.

Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, Super Mario Bros will be released in France at the end of March 2023 if all goes well, 30 years after the release of the first Super Mario Bros film (1993) with Bob Hoskins in the role of Mario.

The latter was a critical and commercial failure with only 20 million dollars in receipts against a production cost of 48 million. Let’s bet without taking too much risk that this animated version will not meet the same fate!
