Ukrainians waited to fill up water bottles from a well in the capital after Russian missiles struck critical infrastructure, knocking out water supply and electricity for thousands of residents. Kyiv’s mayor Vitali Klitschko accused Russian forces of attempting to “freeze” civilians this winter after the latest attacks. With Russia targeting the country’s infrastructure, Kyiv has enforced tough restrictions on energy use as temperatures drop.
