Carol Rosin è la fondatrice dell'Istituto per la Sicurezza e la Cooperazione nello Spazio, che si adopera per un utilizzo civile, basato sulla cooperazione internazionale, delle più moderne tecnologie spaziali.Carol Rosin è anche membro del "Disclosure Project", l'organizzazione che denuncia al mondo la corsa all' armamento spaziale ("Scudo Stellare") come assolutamente inutile e pericolosa da un lato, ed estremamente lucrativa dall'altro.
