US gears up for midterm elections

The US midterm elections will be held on Nov 8. Early voting is already underway in most states. Citizens will choose which party takes control of Congress and ultimately the path of American policy. The economy, abortion rights, health care, immigration, guns and crime are just some of the issues on the ballot paper. The elections also serve as the first nationwide referendum on Joe Biden's first two years in office as president. The midterms' outcome will not just affect Americans, but potentially the entire world, including Asia.
