America's Forgotten History and Heroes with Guest David Barton

Did you know that according to the American Bible Society, 2022 was the lowest year for biblical literacy in its 120 year polling history? On today’s edition of Family Talk, David Barton, the founder and president of WallBuilders, highlights American heroes whose convictions were firmly planted in the Bible. He also stresses the need for biblically minded Christians to engage in politics at the local levels because from there, we will be able to influence culture at the national level. Proverbs 29:2 says, “When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.”

About Today's Guest: David Barton
David Barton is the founder and president of WallBuilders, a national pro-family organization that presents America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on our moral, religious and constitutional heritage. He is the author of numerous best-selling books, including "The Founders Bible," "The American Story" and "This Precarious Moment." David is a frequent guest on a number of national media programs, and is a host on the daily radio show, WallBuilders Live. He serves as a consultant to state and federal legislators, has participated in several cases at the U.S. Supreme Court, and was involved in the development of the History/Social Studies standards for schools throughout the nation. David and his wife, Cheryl, have three grown children, five grandchildren, and reside in Aledo, TX.
