Colfax AoG Sunday Sermon Oct30, 2022 - True FAITH Acts.

Reformation Sunday. in 1517 Martin Luthor began the process to Reform the Church. This produced a bracing and needed correction to the church. But as the correction pendulum began to shifted the view of faith from one of "earning" salvation, and forgiveness to understanding it is by faith ALONE. But the bible does not say it is by faith alone. In fact it is FAITH that is saving and ALIVE will produce a life and fruit in your life. (James 2:14-26) This comes to a particular point in our culture now were there is a an obvious need to speak truth to this generation that has so many destructive lies that are horrendously powerful. If we love Jesus and have a true Faith we need to be more like Jesus who spoke Truth to His generation. (not always welcome messages!).
