VR PC Games Require WiFi 6
This is my first Tech video and I plan to add more.
There is one mistake which I picked up later. I should have went to the Linksys website to check it before we recorded it. The Linksys E7350 is not an Access Point as this wrong info was due to a listing from a retailer. Although it is a good choice as a router that can be used as an Access Point.
The main thrust of the topic is you need WiFi 6 as it has the transfer rate required to maintain a steady transfer of data. VR games are sending large amounts of data to the headset and the router must be able to send it all as fast as it comes in.
For those that are thinking about using a Extender this is a no go.
If two people are using the 5 GHZ band the transfer rate splits in two.
You either need a new Tri Band router or an Access Point or the new VR Air Bridge.
Hope this helps.
