Mayor Woodford: Tonight's invocation will be delivered by Alder Wolff.

Alderperson Nate Wolff (District 12) Thank you. All right. Today, I will be reading, in its entirety, "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe. Awesome. However, due to time constraints and the likelihood that I would call the question on myself, I will instead be reading you two short and inspirational quotes. “There's a child in every one of us who is still a trick or treater looking for a brightly lit front porch,” by Robert Brault. “If human beings had genuine courage, they'd wear their costumes every day of the year, not just on Halloween,” by Douglas Coupland.
