I bought this Hyperkin PlayStation 2 (PS2) HDMI adapter because the PS2 is one the few consoles that does not have a designated HDMI mod at this time. The best way to play PS2 games is on a backwards compatible PlayStation 3 (PS3), but they are now in short supply. There are quite a few HDMI adapters that you can use. I have reviewed a lot of Hyperkin HDMI adapters, but never for the PlayStation (PS1) or PS2. I finally bought one, and in this video, I unbox and review it. At the end of the video, I compare the Hyperkin to the RetroTink 2x Pro. Although, I do not have access to one, my understanding is that the RAD 2x is one of the best way to play the PS2, without a PS3.
