Did God the Father hear Jesus' prayer on the Cross?

This one requires an open mind - just sayin'.
Jesus prayed in Luke 23 for God the Father to forgive the Jews, "for they know not what they do." Did this specific prayer get answered? A look at Psalm 69 and basic history provides the solution to this question. Also, be exceedingly careful of the space (the time) given to us individually to repent and fully serve the Lord Jehovah.
