When starting an exercise programme start small. Vertical pushups are easier on your back and feet than regular pushups, but give you the same exercise benefit without the stress to your body. Start small. I recommend 5 to begin with. Do this everyday Monday to Friday mornings or late afternoon. The following week you can jump to 6. This exercise builds your arms and shoulder muscles.
