Trial of Robert Jones-Jury Asks About Disregarding An Element

The jury was told that every element including honking horns and screaming must be proven or they must find the defendant not guilty. They ask if they can disregard the element of "screaming". Judge Susan Clark just states that they have the information they need. Why did she not remind them of the compaint and that they must prove every element including screaming or find the defendant not guilty. Obviously the jury did not understand the instructions and she could have easily corrected their misunderstanding by re-reading that part of the instructions. She knew better.
