Captain John Price (Status: ALIVE)
Key character, captain and immediate superior of the code-named B-6 McTavish. Imprisoned by militants for covering the evacuation of his squad during the Operation Kingfish (live action short) mission, Price was affected by the Russian coup and sent to the Citadel for captivity before being rescued by the player in Modern Warfare 2. The character has appeared in Call of Duty 1, 2, 4, 6 and 8, and has been dubbed "The Perpetual Immortal" by players. In the sequel's "Ashes to Ashes" level, Makarov hangs himself and lights an iconic cigar before the end of the show.
