Animal song storybook about a donkey with funny traits. The Wonky Donkey is a tongue twister to read out loud to kids. Children will love the fun sound effects that have been added, although I warn that since the donkey in the book has gas, the noise-making flatulence can be heard each time it's mentioned along with all the other descriptions found on each page. Donkeys are notoriously stubborn headstrong creatures. They're fiercely independent and good at thinking for themselves. They will defend their heard from predators like coyotes or dangerous snakes.
I hope this book makes your children laugh and helps them to develop some familiarity with the repeated words and phrases in the story. Reading is a difficult skill to master. Repetition helps with word recognition and pronunciation.
