The fruits, vegetables, and herbs were pure, grown from fertile and chemical-free soil, basked in just the right amount of California sunshine, and most of all, they were tended with love from the sowing of the seeds to placing them in the baskets they were sold from.

That’s not all that was made with love, organically. The family was a close-knit one with ties that could not be broken.

The three boys, now grown, lived at home and helped on the farm, each with girlfriends who were quickly becoming part of the family. The integrity of the family spilled over to the farm.

Or perhaps the integrity of the farm spilled over to the family. It didn’t matter.

There was nothing that could touch the values that were instilled in each of the Daltons and that were sewn tightly in the soil they grew on. Or…could it?

In a twist of unexpected events that were brought about unintentionally by the youngest son, Shane’s girlfriend the reporter, the farm was threatened in a way no one could have seen coming.
