Aleksandr Dugin is often referred to as the brain of Vladimir Putin. What might be more apt could perhaps be that of Putin's philosophical thinking brain. And here in this interview, he describes in his mind what he believes has and is happening as liberalism has become omnipresent in the Western world.

Compared to communism or fascism, Liberalism is freedom. But when compared to itself with no competing ideology it in itself becomes totalitarian. Can we see examples of this very point in the cancellation and de-platforming of people on the opposite side of the aisle today in the Western world? Or perhaps Dugin's own books being banned by Amazon. You can decide that for yourself.
