The move comes after the drone attacks on the Crimean city of Sevastopol.

Moscow blames Kyiv for the attacks.

The grain export deal was agreed in July to allow resumption of vital grain export from Ukrainian Black Sea ports — a diplomatic breakthrough that aimed at easing a global food crisis sparked by the war.

Russia has long threatened to pull out of the agreement with president Putin criticizing that the grain was taken to EU countries instead of the poorest countries in need.

After Russia's announcement, Ukrainian foreign minister called on Moscow to — quote "stop hunger games and recommit to its obligations."
