In this video, I discuss the importance of spreading the Bitcoin hash rate globally by putting Bitcoin mining machines in as many homes and businesses as possible. This will help to mitigate censorship attacks by governments on large regulated Bitcoin mining companies.

Bitcoin mining has many industrial applications and can use energy from sources like stranded renewable energy, methane gas from garbage dumps, and otherwise flared or vented natural gas or methane.

At some point in the future, expect to see a Bitcoin ASIC embedded in your home water heater or HVAC system.

Small off-grid home mining operations may even have much lower electricity costs than large corporate mining operations and can certainly be run much better.
