Chimarrutus - Chimarrutus

Chimarruts is a Brazilian reggae band, formed in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul in 2000.

In 2002, Chimarruts recorded their first eponymous CD with 14 tracks, all composed by the band. The good acceptance by the public with the first independent album made that, in June 2002, Chimarruts signed a contract with the record label Orbeat Music.

The debut on the stages of Planeta Atlântida, one of the biggest music festivals in the country, was in February 2003.
