Photographing a Moonrise Behind a Lighthouse | My Dumb Mistake

In October I traveled to Harbor Beach, Michigan to photography a full Moonrise behind the well known spark plug shaped lighthouse. I needed to get there fast, but would rushing there cause me to forget some crucial steps?

I planned this shoot using Photopills. This has the potential to be a great shot with the huge full moon rising behind this iconic lighthouse.
